Body-Worn and In-Car Camera Systems

Charging Dock0A body-worn, in-car camera, and digital evidence storage system was implemented in October 2021 as part of an ongoing effort to provide community-orientated police services to the residents, businesses, and visitors of the City of Brea. This complete and comprehensive system allows the Brea Police Department to not only deploy the use of body and in-car cameras but also utilize redaction software and maintain digital evidence storage, which will aid with investigations, incident and interaction documentation, and ongoing officer training. The financial estimate of $993,075.08 for a five-year contract with Motorola Solutions was approved by Brea City Council on February 2, 2021.
