The annual Brea 8k Classic Race will take place on Sunday, February 23. Roads in the area will start to close starting at 4:00 a.m. and the course should be fully cleared by 9:30 a.m. Starting this year, the race start time will be 7:00 a.m. instead of 8:00 a.m. This change has been implemented with the goal of reducing traffic impact complaints from previous years.

The race team will be handing out door to door in neighborhoods to inform residents about the race and the traffic impacts for race day. Please use this flyer as a reference for using general information to give to the public, such as which streets will be closed and for how long. This document can also be found on the Brea 8K website.
