The Investigations Lieutenant is a middle manager who has command of our Investigation Bureau, and leads the Sergeants and Detectives in all criminal investigations. They play a crucial role in ensuring the effective and efficient functioning of the unit, as well as maintaining a high standard of professional conduct and performance. His/Her span of control includes our Crimes Property and Crimes Persons Detectives, our Crime Suppression Detectives, our Property and Evidence Technicians, our Crime Scene Investigator, and our Crime Analyst. In addition to supervising and mentoring the 3 Investigations Sergeants, the Investigations Lieutenant plays an important role as he/she acts as a liaison between the Command Staff and the Detectives.
