Delegations from Brea have been treated to many memorable, personal trips reflecting the best of Mexican hospitality. A shared-use park at Laurel school on the southeast corner of Birch and Flower is named for Lagos de Moreno. In addition, several treasured pieces in Brea's Art in Public Places program, including the high school Wildcat mascot, were created by Lagos artist Carlos Terres.
