To support Brea businesses, the City runs a Shop Brea campaign to encourage community members to shop and dine in the city. Every time someone makes a purchase or grabs a bite to eat in Brea, the City receives one cent of every sales tax dollar collected. Not only do these purchases help Brea Businesses, they also help the community by supporting Police, Fire, Schools, Parks and other city services.
As part of the campaign, City staff conducts various outreach efforts to educate the public on the importance of shopping in the City and distributes ’Shop Brea’ branded items as a reminder that every penny counts!
