Health Help & Screenings
The Brea Senior Center aims to provide important information regarding health services for people 60 years and older. Do you, or someone you know, need assistance in these areas?
Blood Pressure Monitoring
Tuesdays
9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
High blood pressure increases your chance (or risk) for getting heart disease and/or kidney disease and for having a stroke. It is especially dangerous because it often has no warning signs or symptoms. It is estimated that one in every four American adults has high blood pressure. Once high blood pressure develops, it usually lasts a lifetime. You can prevent and control high blood pressure by taking action. Stop in each week for your free monitoring record.
Brea Medical Alert Program
This important document, designed by Brea Paramedics, is posted on your refrigerator and provides important medical information and emergency contacts that emergency personnel need during an emergency. To get your own copy, call (714) 990-7750.

Durable medical equipment such as walkers, canes, wheelchairs, transporters, raised toilet seats, commodes, grab bars, bedside assist rails, and more may be borrowed at no charge for Brea Seniors. Also available for lending are CCTV magnifiers for the vision impaired. Donations are accepted. Call (714) 990-7750 for more information.
